I'm already looking forward to the day that I say, "but for the Grace of God, we made it!"

The past couple of days have been a whirlwind physically to put it mildly. Ever remember how you felt when someone had you on a merry-go-round and kept sendng you around and around to their heart's content and your face was frozen from how physically your body was going to respond? Thus is how I've spent my last couple of days......on a phyiscal merry go around praying that today will be the day I get off. Please help me pray that today is the day I get relief from this thing.

Will blog more later.....not up for the full challenge yet again.

Hang in there! It may seem selfish but you make my day alittle better just reading your story. I continue to lift you up in prayer.

Stay strong Leah, God is still on the throne! He said he would never leave nor forsake you and I believe, I truly do. Your sun will shine again, so for now, rest well and dream of better days to come.

Love, Vernie

We continue to pray IN JESUS NAME for Leah and her treatment regimen, and we do not miss a post on her blog. We also continue to hold up you and John in prayer as it has to be so painful to see your child suffer and go through this. We pray for you to have strength to be a caregiver and encouragement to Leah and Steve. Jesus will take care of you all - he's done it before and he'll do it again. I am blessed by Leah's postings and encouraged in the Lord when I read your comments to her blogs - I love those old songs like Sunshine In The Shadows and Leaning On The Everlasting Arms. It's funny that you all are going through the fight of your lives but us that read the blog are getting encouraged in the Lord by the things you are writing. Leah wrote about making withdrawals or deposits (and how hard it is for her to take the withdrawals) but it's like she's really making a deposit by sharing her fight with us all and how Jesus is giving her the victory day-by-day (or I'm sure minute-by-minute sometimes). It is an encouragement to us and a blessing to see how Jesus is working even in this trial.

We love and think of you often - and will continue to pray...

Dear grandaughter,
You are a good gal!
You are so special to me... You are a light to everyone. Your faith and trust in God's is a inspiration to everyone that meets you. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself and asking "why me" you are standing up and saying,"With God's help, I can make it."
You show us all that with the Lord's help we can go through anything.
I will not go to the Redwood forest with out you... so you better get well soon, because your old grandpa is 90 years old and counting...and getting older by the minute.
I think you should wall paper your bedroom with the get well cards that you have recieved so you can wake up each morning and see how many people really love you and are praying for you.
with all my love and prayers,
Grandpa Hilmer Rose xoxoxoxoxox
P.S
PLEASE DO NOT MENTION THE WORD PHONE TO ME EVER AGAIN!!
