Not feeling so well again today

I'm up in hopes that my pain meds will kick in. I can't believe I'm still having, what they call breakout pain. One minute you are fine, the next minute you are not. I struggled with the pain all night and then finally decided to do something about it around 4 a.m.

It started yesterday. I went out for a couple of hours with Kimberly because I've been trying to build up my strength and by the time I got home, I was feeling horrible.

I know it will get better and I can hardely wait. I'm just trying to be patient, which hasn't ever been my greatest asset. :-)

Take Care and Have a wonderful day!
I'll be fine soon.

Hang in there Leah. I know it will get better. Some of your pain sounds like my lupus pain. I'll be just fine and then in a matter of minutes, it feels like I broke my arm - severe pain in my shoulder, wrist, fingers, etc. - so bad that I dare not move my arm. I love my rice sock. You probably have one. I take a large long atheletic sock and fill it with white rice (not cooked of course)and tie a knot in the end. I then microwave it for around 3 minutes or until it's good and hot. It lasts for hours and really either helps the pain or helps to take my mind off of it. At first the heat is a moist heat, but after several uses, the rice in the sock dries out and it doesn't take as long to heat. I take one to bed with me almost every night. Then, if that doesn't help, I increase my Prednisone and it's usually better the next day. I used to hate Prednisone, now it is my friend. Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling good today. I pray that better days are with you soon. You are a real trooper. Tie a knot on the end of the rope and hang on. I believe your victory is on its way. I can't wait until we can get together. I am looking forward to that day. I pray that God will richly bless you and your family and all of those that are helping you.
Love & Prayers,
Linda
